Due Diligence

due-diligenceOur team has many years of experience in advising clients successfully on various investment strategies to achieve their financial goals.

Championing an ethical and honest approach is central to everything we do. Of course, although there are no guarantees, here at Delaunay our aim is only to offer you an investment strategy if we think it will best meet your needs and objectives.  Our focus is entirely on what we consider “best-in-class” solutions through our in-depth experience and expertise.

In order to ensure that you meet your objectives, Delaunay offers independent advice on investment and insurance products, based on an evaluation of those that are sufficiently diverse, not only in type but also by provider.  These include pensions, investment bonds, unit trusts, annuities, ISAs and savings plans, as well as structured investment products.

All of the investments we put forward have passed a two-step due diligence process where necessary:

Step one – provider

We only recommend products from providers who satisfy our due diligence requirements in terms of their financial stability and their ability to deliver products in a timely and reliable manner.  We also evaluate each providers’s past performance, focusing particularly on after-sales service and the track record of key staff.

Step two – products

Once a provider is approved, we conduct our own independent assessment to review the technical and commercial aspects of their product offering.  This looks at the quality of advice they provide in connection with the product and the financial models provided to establish the expected costs and benefits associated with the investment.

We only recommend products that satisfy both aspects of this due diligence process.

The value of your investment can go down as well as up and you may get back less than you have invested.
