My name is Murray and I’ve been a client of Lloyd’s for about 15 years, maybe a little bit longer.

“Why did you first get in touch with Lloyd?”

My knowledge of finance is fairly basic, and the world of pensions is always fairly difficult to navigate. Some of my colleagues had worked with Lloyd, and he came highly recommended. We had a few initial chats and got on well. He’s offered me some great advice, and we’ve been working together ever since.

“How did Lloyd help you move from being employed to running a business?”

It’s actually an interesting question, because I was employed for about two-thirds of the time I’ve worked with Lloyd, so I had PAYE set up. Lloyd helped me in the process of setting up my own company, and how best to utilise payments and tax. He was very useful in telling me the best way to plan my company, and how the cash flow should work.

“Does Delaunay Wealth’s cashflow forecasting help you feel more confident about the future?”

Oh yeah, definitely. Definitely. Because they’re obviously in quite an easy, digestible form, so I can look and hopefully be at a certain point at a certain age. It just makes it easy for the layperson to understand financial planning and modelling.

“Would you feel so confident about your retirement if you weren’t working with Lloyd?”

Probably not, because I just do not know enough about finance. Obviously, I have a grasp of how pensions work and all the rest of it, but if you want to get into granular tax allowances, all that sort of stuff, he knows and I don’t!

“What’s the best thing about working with Lloyd?”

The thing about Lloyd is he’s always there. You can send him an email if you’ve got a query or some financial question, and he’ll reply with “What are you doing at 10 o’clock tomorrow morning? Should we have a chat?”. He’s got all the answers that are needed, so you can rest assured that the information is there and you can make a decision on whatever your query was.

“How would you describe Lloyd?”

Lloyd is a great communicator, very knowledgeable and a good financial guide.

“Would you recommend Delaunay Wealth to other people?”

Definitely, I already have! I think he’s got a few client referrals from me who are all very happy with him as well, for the same reasons as me. You may have friends who probably don’t know that much about financial basics, but he’s there to help map out their future financial plans.
