Yes, we are independent financial planners. We work for you, not one financial institution, and therefore have access to the whole of the marketplace.

Does the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulate you?

Can I choose between meeting in person or on a video call?

Yes, meetings can be held in person or by video call, depending on what suits you best. They can take place at your home, workplace or one of our offices, although most clients choose video call because it is the most convenient option.

Where are face-to-face meetings held?

Face-to-face meetings can be held at a place that is convenient to you. That could be our Woking office, Optichrome House, 98-102 Maybury Rd, Woking GU21 5HX, our London office, 85 Tottenham Court Road, London, W1T 4TQ, your home or your workplace.

Do you have parking at your office?

Yes, there is parking available at our Woking office: Optichrome House, 98-102 Maybury Rd, Woking GU21 5HX. There is no parking at our London office, but we are only a one-minute walk from Goodge Street tube station.

Delaunay Wealth Management has been providing financial advice since January 2013. We have been supporting clients ever since.

Where are you based, and do you work with clients outside your local area?

We are based in Woking, and we work with clients all over the country. Most of our meetings are carried out remotely unless you have a specific preference for meeting face to face.

How can I book an initial meeting?

You can contact us by telephone, email or through the contact form on our website. We will then arrange an initial phone call to see whether we are the right fit for each other.

Do I have to pay for an initial meeting?

No, you do not have to pay for an initial meeting. The initial phone call and the subsequent Discovery Meeting are both held at our expense.

What do I need to bring to an initial meeting?

You do not need to prepare anything for the initial phone call. If you would like to move forward to the Discovery Meeting, we will let you know what is required.

What happens in the first meeting?

The initial phone call and Discovery Meeting give us time to get to know each other. We will talk through your goals and make sure we are right for one another.

How long should I allow for an initial meeting?

You should typically allow 15 to 20 minutes for the initial phone call. The Discovery Meeting usually takes 60 to 90 minutes.

Do I have to sign up to your services at an initial meeting?

No, there is no obligation to sign up to our services at your initial meeting. You only need to proceed when you are ready.

Do you have a female planner I can work with?

At the moment, we do not have a female planner in the team. If you choose to work with us, you will be supported by Lloyd and the wider team throughout your journey.

What happens if my financial planner is away on holiday?

If Lloyd is away on holiday, the client support team is always available to assist. They can also arrange a call with Lloyd when he returns, if required.

How often will I hear from my financial planner?

You will see your financial planner at least once a year during your annual Progression Meeting. You also have unlimited access to your planner and client support team throughout the year, and we send a monthly newsletter.

Do you offer cashflow forecasting/planning as part of your service?

Yes, cashflow forecasting is a core part of our financial planning service. It helps us understand what action may be needed to help you achieve your aspirations.

What happens if my circumstances change?

We review your circumstances every year during your Progression Meeting. If your circumstances change in the meantime, we ask that you contact us so we can make sure your financial plan is still on track and relevant.

Can you work alongside my accountant or solicitor?

Absolutely, we can work alongside your accountant or solicitor. In fact, we highly recommend doing this where appropriate.

Can you coordinate with my mortgage adviser if they need information from you?

Can I see an example of a financial plan?

We do not provide example financial plans, as the advice we give is tailored to each client’s individual circumstances. Your plan will be built around your own goals, needs and recommendations, so it is designed specifically for you.

Yes, you will be able to see the value of your investments online. You will have access to our client portal, which includes valuation information.
